Few Question
Greeting!

I had face few problems during my implementation of new project:

1.How we can change the user interface fonts to match our host application fonts?
2.How can we specify our own SQL join condition?
3.How can we do our own calculation such as % of group total?

Thanks.

Re: Few Question
I have a few question to add in,

4.How can we make Batched Report read parameters from some system parameter file?

5.Can we create a data item that is a user defined function?  Can we then use such data item as a filter parameter in a batched report?

Thanks.

1. You can easily change some of the fonts for your actual reports however to change the full interface, you would need to recompile the actual application.

2. You can specify your own SQL join condition either by specifying it in the Relationship Editor or by modifying the generated SQL in one of the FFCONFIG phases.

3. To add a report specific calculation, you can choose Modify Layout in the Output tab or click on Modify Report when previewing the report, you can add or modify fields that are shown on the report.

Re: Few Question
4.Yes, when you create a batch report,

5. In the Data Item Editor, you can specify the expression that is used and that expression can very easily be a user-defined function. As noted in the developer help file,
"Your new Data Item can be created in various ways as follows:

You can use an existing UDF - create a data item based on a user defined field
Create Calculated fields - calculate Gross Profit as Sale Amount - Cost
Create Concatenated fields - concatenate First Name and Last Name to create Full Name"

There is a tutorial on how to create a new data item in the user help file's Advanced Tutorial.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
